We bring you today, some updates about the public ZGSC Association actions.
Parish of São Domingos de Benfica (Lisbon)
ZOOM GLOBAL SMART CITIES ASSOCIATION is based now in the incubator and co-working space promoted by this parish of Lisbon, one of the most populous and prestigious areas of the Portuguese capital city.
We are about to sign a MOU with the parish authorities to work on a close cooperation and the first action already confirmed and ongoing is the Coordination of the new created Strategic Council for the parish that intends to gather relevant and notorious stakeholders from that area.
The Ceremony of the constitution of this council took place during the 60th anniversary celebration of the parish and it was a big success with more than 30 entities signing the document and showing interest in participate and cooperate.
GUANGZHOU INSTITUTE FOR URBAN INNOVATION & ZOOM GLOBAL SMART CITIES ASSOCIATION sign a Letter of Agreement on Collaboration
The LOA has been signed last January and it’s a “shared commitment to promoting sustainable urban development and the local implementation of the Global Goals worldwide, have reached this agreement on the establishment of a strategic partnership.”.
The Guangzhou Institute for Urban Innovation (located in Guangzhou, China) serves as the thought leader for the Guangzhou International Award for Urban Innovation. It is actively engaged in promoting the sharing and exchange of lessons learned from peer-reviewed and independently assessed initiatives in urban innovation. The Institute has Nicholas You, also our distinguished Chairman, as Executive Director.
ZOOM GLOBAL SMART CITIES ASSOCIATION & NORDIC EDGE sign Letter of Agreement on Cooperation
Nordic Edge is a non-profit corporation owned by private companies working in close cooperation with municipalities and city administrations to promote solutions for smarter cities and communities. It has the mission to build a Nordic ecosystem for smart, sustainable and liveable communities.
Both, ZGSC and Nordic Edge, share commitment to promoting sustainable urban social progress and strengthen the advocacy and awareness for citizenship rights and inclusiveness through smart cities and intelligence processes for economic and sustainable cities. The signature of this agreement is a first step towards a future cooperation and promotion of a rich and tangible strategic partnership.
